Gubernur DKI Jakarta, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, memamerkan foto selfie bersama atlet wushu sekaligus aktor laga Jet Li.

However, some stores, including Gap, La Prairie and Calvin Klein canceled press events, while Victoria Beckham postponed an appearance at Galeries Lafayette. Analysts speculate that despite beefed-up security, consumers (specifically Chinese shoppers) will likely avoid the city in the coming holiday months. Meanwhile, L'Oreal Paris mourns the loss of digital projects manager Quentin Boulenger, who was killed at the Bataclan, the company has confirmed

Gigi Hadid Addresses Body-Shamers on Instagram

"If I didn't have the body I do, I wouldn't have the career I do," wrote the model.

"So many people are so quick to comment negative opinions this month. Yes, judgment on social comes from people who, 99% of the time, have no idea what they're talking about," she wrote on Monday, "but I'm human, and I'm not going to lie, I did let the negativity get to me a little."

Hadid has been working the fashion month circuit, most recently walking on the Versace and Dolce & Gabbana runways during Milan Fashion Week. She'll close out the month in Paris.

Ariel Winter Shuts Down Misogynistic Instagram Commenters

"It sickens me to think at 17 years old, a photo of myself with my nieces is suggesting that I'm 'asking for it.' "

Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter, social media vigilante, is back at it. For the second time in a month, the 17-year-old has taken to Instagram to shut down the hateful commenters who leave nasty messages on her posts.

Her social media activism began a few weeks back, when the Modern Family actress regrammed a photo from Ariana Grande in which the young starlets showed support for one another in the face of anonymous body shamers.

Over the weekend, after posting a photo of herself in a bikini with her two young nieces, Winter received comments insinuating that by posing in a swimsuit, she was "asking for it." Though the actress admits that usually she wouldn't dignify such remarks with a response, she felt a duty to stand up not just for herself, but for girls everywhere who are judged by the clothes they wear.

"Who knew that an innocent photo with my nieces would turn into this?" Winter captioned a second photo, which illustrated the various judgments passed based on the length of a woman's skirt. "It sickens me to think at 17 years old, a photo of myself with my nieces is suggesting that I'm 'asking for it.' "

She continued, "I typically never give power to the mean things people bravely say behind their computer screens on the Internet, but this is for the girls who are constantly bullied whether it be online or at school. You are not asking for anything because of what you are wearing- you are expressing yourself and don't you ever think you deserve the negativity as the consequence to what you are wearing- YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL."
